Dear Governor Daniels,

I am writing you to tell you about the tremendous service our church family has been receiving from Milestone Construction during the SR 26 widening project. Last month, Milestone had to temporarily close our SR 26 entrance to install the permanent travel lanes. This had a dramatic impact on 1600-1700 persons who attend church here each Sunday, along with students in our school and our neighbors who use our community center and outdoor ball fields. We all greatly appreciated the way Milestone's supervisor regularly communicated to us so that we could make alternate plans. This past Saturday night, the supervisor called me to report that the final concrete had passed inspection that afternoon and that he was going out that very evening to move the barricades so we could use the new entrance this past Sunday morning. This kind of service and attention to detail is surprising given the magnitude of this project. Our church family wants you to know how thankful we are that this project is being completed and how amazed we are at the professional way we have been treated by Milestone Contractors all along the way.
