At Milestone we believe in taking care of the communities we live and work in. One way we do this is find organizations to donate our time and resources into. Once connected with Wheeler Mission we knew that our values aligned with theirs and a valued partnership was formed.

Wheeler Mission Wheeler is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and need in Central and South Central Indiana without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, or religion.

The organization provides Men’s services, Women’s services, and Social Enterprises. Their services include helping provide temporary shelter, 3 meals a day, and medical services. They also have addiction services, such as Hebron which is a long-term, residential, addiction recovery program that helps men and women address addictions and other life-dominating sin.

There are many ways you can help Wheeler Mission. Each fall our Indianapolis Team gathers to do a “leaf clean up” where we head out to a Wheeler Mission facility and help clean up their landscape and yard from all of the fallen leaves. This helps their team member focus on the activities they need to instead of being busy with yardwork. We’ve also helped build cabinets for their facilities, donated food items and more!
