In 2009, we established our Bloomington office location. Since then, we have been working to support local charities to build a stronger, more connected community. We have supported fighting food insecurity by donating time and resources to Wheeler Mission and partnering with Bloomington Parks to support their community initiatives.

Recently, we have partnered with Girls Inc. Of Monroe County. Girls Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides educational programming and organized sports leagues to help girls develop the values and skills they need to become confident, productive and responsible adults.

Our partnership began when a neighbor to Senior Operations Manager, Rob Rood, came to him with questions about asphalt paving. The neighbor was on the board of Girls Inc. and knew Rob could help. Rob joined Area Manager Mark Nagle to meet with Girls Inc. Director of Operations Marisa Churchill. After meeting and learning more about Girls Inc. they knew this was a great partnership for both companies.

In mid-December, Jared Staggs and his crew headed out to Girls Inc. to repave the parking lot. In addition to the parking lot, they were also able to touch up some concrete areas and add hand railings. Great work, crew!

“We are so grateful for all Milestone has done in such a short amount of time,” said Marisa-Director of Operations at Girls Inc. “Thank you for being such a great company to work with!”

As we move forward with our partnership, we look forward to taking the girls out for site visits and empowering to get connected in our construction industry!
