MILESTONE BUILDS STAIRWAY FOR TURNING POINT’S COMMUNITY BUILDING -The Republic Newspaper
Local Contractors Give Back to Local Domestic Violence Agency
Columbus, Ind.: Today, September 20, Milestone Contractors donated their time, talent, and supplies to complete a new stairway to the second floor of Turning Point’s new Community Building. As Turning Point prepares to move into their new space in mid-October, they are thankful for the work donated by Milestone. The new building needed an additional stairwell added, which had to be constructed and poured with concrete, the latter of which was done by Milestone.
Corey Baugh, Milestone Vice President, is no stranger to giving back to the Columbus community, as the company completes many projects for organizations in the area. When Baugh reached out to the domestic violence agency inquiring about an opportunity to give back, Whittney Loyd, Turning Point President, sighed with relief as she knew exactly what was needed. As the agency continues to serve a record number of individuals, the completion of the new Turning Point offices are critical. Milestone’s support could not have come at a better time.
Baugh stated, “Milestone is thankful for our partnership with the United Way of Bartholomew County and their partner agencies, like Turning Point. We are proud to be a part of the important work being done here and are happy to support our community. We look forward to future opportunities like this one where our business and employees can give back.”
