Prioritizing Safety as We Gear Up for the Season

Our safety teams have been conducting trainings throughout the state to refresh and prepare our teams for a safe construction season.

CPR Training

One of those training courses included CPR training conducted by Safety Representative, Heather Stroot, at our Indianapolis office. Heather hosted a class in which employees learned the standard operating procedures of CPR and how to safely use an AED machine, and they also got hands-on practice on our dummy dolls. Heather also spoke of the dangers of heat illness when working in elevated temperature areas and taught team members how to look out for the signs of heat related illness. Thank you, Heather, for preparing our team with the information needed in emergency situations!

Skid Steer Training

Skid Steer training has been taking place to ensure our operators know how to drive a skid steer safely, even in areas that are difficult to navigate. During training, a McAlister Rentals trainer and our safety representatives teach trainees how to use the machine to lift a wide range of items and perform tasks while avoiding risk and hazards. Way to go, team! Here is to a safe season.
